Colour scratchiness!

A few artworks for the 'Koel learns to Sing' book. I have been tripping on a scratchy style and experimented with colour this time. Since all the illos have a major portion of sky, I wanted to give different colour palette to it in each illo for different mood and ambience.
Someday would like to make green sky and still get away with it! : )

These illustrations are simply gorgeous.....I love the colours and the way the characters seem to jump out of the pages. Just the sort of thing kids will look at again and again and again. Great work!

fresh and innocently charming illustration. the hue pattern is awesome.

Being drawing illiterate, I do not understand the new style u have used called scratchiness... yet the effect is surely seen..

Wonderfull.. best wishes for all further works..
